Whiskey Kiss is designed by Jen in the Hunter Valley, country New South Wales, usually with one of the five grandchildren in tow.

She picks the fabrics, chooses the colours and packs the ute for every show. If you have bought a cap from the pop up, you have almost certainly met her.

Jen started out with the brand Pitbitch at speedway races, rodeos, country music festivals and events, so she has spent two decades learning what people actually want to wear.

That is where the focus on everyday comfort and style comes from, worked out the long way: visiting factories in China and liaising with Australian companies to make sure our standards are met.

Jen designs every piece, and the embroidery is done for her by a local Australian small business rather than sent offshore.

Some pieces are hand printed instead. Either way it is done in small runs, which is why the flower on one Country Girls cap is not quite the flower on the next one.

A graphic designer with a career in newspapers, advertising, magazines and printeries behind her, Jen has a proven track record for a stand out difference in design.

Along the way she has organised merchandise for businesses, teams and groups right across the country.
